Welcome to SUPREME—We are a microelectronics research center funded through the JUMP 2.0 consortium of the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) and its partners. The center is led by Cornell University and brings together 25+ leading researchers across 13 universities. Researchers at SUPREME explore both fundamental new science and novel engineering technologies, with the aim of driving the semiconductor industry in the next 3–15 years, while also training the next generation of scientists and engineers to work across disciplines.

SUPREME is an integral part of the JUMP 2.0 Program and supports its mission to inspire students interested in pursuing education and careers in semiconductor sciences. Today’s semiconductor companies are embracing diverse talent, faculty and students alike, recognizing that different perspectives and experiences can lead to novel ideas and innovative solutions to complex problems. Broadening Participation in JUMP 2.0 seeks to broaden the pipeline to meet the demand for a growing semiconductor science and engineering workforce by including more undergraduate students in our research program.
SUPREME is one of seven research centers funded by SRC’s Joint University Microelectronics Program (JUMP 2.0), which represents a consortium of industrial participants and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Information about the SRC can be found at https://www.src.org/.
