Liaison Meetings – Wednesdays at 4 PM or 8 PM (ET) via webex

Liaison Meetings are SUPREME’s prime platform to foster engagement among research scholars (students, postdocs, PIs) and the scientific leads at sponsor companies (liaisons).
– Invitations are sent via email – please reach out to supreme-admin@cornell.edu if you missed out.
– A great opportunity to share recent progress on research projects.
– Liaisons scout future interns and hires—make yourself visible to your future colleagues.

Past Liaison Meetings?

Details and presentation materials on weekly Liaison Meetings of the center can be found on Pillar Science, including a TOC of past liaison meetings and e-Workshops.

When to present my results?

At any time – always!

Students and Postdocs are encouraged to present as sponsors like to hear from the source directly and to discuss challenges in detail. Please chat with your PI, so that we can make sure to add you to the schedule.

SUPREME hosts approximately 35 Liaison Meetings annually and each meeting includes one deep dive presentations (20min + Q&A) and 1-3 short updates (á 10 min incl. Q&A). Meetings are not recorded to enable open discussion among attendees.

How to attend the LM?

LMs are open for all members of the Center SUPREME. If this includes you and you have never received an invitation, please contact supreme-admin@cornell.edu.

Difference to e-Workshops

e-workshops are an SRC-driven series of hour-long presentations open to the wider SRC community, not just SUPREME. Annually, each JUMP 2.0 center provides four e-workshops. E-workshops are announced via the SRC calendar including a registration link. Contrary to LMs, all e-workshops are recorded and the recording link along with the presentation materials can be found in Pillar Science.
