Participation & Career Connections
SUPREME Broadening Participation Pledge
SUPREME is an integral part of the JUMP 2.0 Program and supports its mission to inspire students interested in pursuing education and careers in semiconductor sciences. Today’s semiconductor companies are embracing diverse talent, faculty and students alike, recognizing that different perspectives and experiences can lead to novel ideas and innovative solutions to complex problems. Broadening Participation in JUMP 2.0 seeks to broaden the semiconductor pipeline to meet the demand for a growing semiconductor science and engineering workforce by including more undergraduate students in our research program.
Opportunities for Undergraduates
Currently, the Center SUPREME offers three opportunities for Undergraduates to participate in cutting-edge semiconductor research for future microelectronics applications.
REU at SUPREME – Research Experiences for Undergraduate
This opportunity is open to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents, who are undergraduates at U.S. institutions, pursuing degrees in a STEM field. We encourage applications from students in 4-year institutions as well as community colleges, including those with limited research experience.
Undergraduate Opportunities within Center SUPREME
Dedicated grants are available to support undergraduate students who have joined the research groups of SUPREME PIs. The grants may be used to cover hourly salary, research expenses, or travel to the SUPREME Annual Reviews.
For eligibility criteria and application details please visit the dedicated pages.
Career Events hosted by SRC
Annually, SRC is organizing two events that focus on providing networking opportunities. The virtual CAREER Connections in Spring and the TECHCON in Fall are open for research scholars to meet, network, engage with hiring managers and staff scientists of sponsor companies.
